Ben Funk is a veteran of the financial services industry having served as a Partner at an alternative investment management firms for over twenty years.

Ben has actively managed investment teams and operations spanning four continents while serving as a primary liaison to investors and consultants globally. With expertise in developing strategies, managing liquid and less liquid portfolios, and driving growth within firms ranging from start-up to institutional in scale, Ben was named as a "Rising Star of Hedge Funds” by Institutional Investor. He has been a regular contributor to the financial press and has served as a Visiting Lecturer of Economics at DePaul University. He was formerly at Morgan Stanley and earlier worked on the Chicago Board of Trade and New York Stock Exchange.

Ben was awarded a Doctorate and Master of Research from London Business School's OTM department focused on Operations, Technology and Finance, has an EMBA from Stockholm University, and holds a BA from Purdue University. He has published papers in academic journals and has been a contributing Fellow of the Aspen Institute.
