Alex brings more than 20 years of institutional private markets experience across secondaries, private equity, venture capital and special situations. He began his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley before moving to the buy side at Novator Partners and then later to HarbourVest Partners, one of the largest and longest-established secondaries investors globally. He then joined Lombard Odier, where he built the private bank's secondaries business from inception and scaled it to more than $1 billion in assets under management as Co-Head of Secondaries. Most recently he led AF1VC, a specialised direct technology secondaries firm he founded.

Alex will lead Launchbay's European franchise, bringing institutional sourcing relationships and an investor network spanning Europe, the Gulf and Asia to the firm's global secondaries platform
