Alex Ells brings over 25 years of investment banking experience, with a distinguished career in equity trading and sales. He began his career in 1997 at James Capel in London and spent 14 years at Deutsche Bank, where he held multiple senior roles, including Managing Director, Head of EMEA Trading and Sales Trading.

Following his tenure at Deutsche Bank, Alex joined HSBC, where he led Global Equity Trading and Sales Trading across EMEA and North America. More recently, he served at Bluecrest as Head of Asia for an ECM Block Fund. In 2023, Alex co-founded a digital tech company, further diversifying his expertise.

At Launchbay Alex is leading the firm's private market strategies with a focus on Secondary Trading, while building and leveraging the Launchbay Capital Platform to drive growth and innovation.
