Alex started his career as a Management Consultant but had long been fascinated by the potential of value creation through technology entrepreneurship. This interest drove him to try and launch an investment platform for startups in emerging markets.

In addition to a passion for technology, Alex brings a wealth of business development, start-up fundraising and investment platform experience to the team. Alex’s most recent role was at Seedrs, where he joined just after its Series A, and stayed for over five and a half years until its acquisition by US fintech unicorn Republic. After initially joining Seedrs’ deal sourcing team, where he helped to transact over 50 early-stage deals, Alex eventually established and ran Seedrs’ secondary function.

Alex will leverage this experience to support the team in releasing some of the trillions of shareholder value locked in private companies, whilst sourcing exciting secondary opportunities for our investor base.
